Ftp Connection Refused Windows
Mar 10, 2012 4:53 am FTP error Quote Postby n4jcu » Sat Mar 10, 2012 5:16 am I got this ftp connection refused ubuntu error message any time I try to enable FTP Connection refused> My OS Windows 7 Professional [/quote] I had a different error on windows 7. Maybe you can try my fix anyways. Start>in the search box type, cmd when the CMD black box appears in the search window, hold down thw shift and the ctrl keys and click on the cmd black box You will probably have to answer, yes, to allow this program to make changes to the operating system. And you are in the, windows/system32 directory. ( if you do it wrong, you are in the, users directory and it probably didn't ask you for permission to make changes to the operating system) At the cmd line you type, netsh advfirewall set global StatefulFTP disable and after it says ok you type, exit And then, for me, Yawcam FTPing began working on windows 7. Your IP is 68.238.89.182, gi-cdi-ij-bicWrong external IP addressConnection closedSo I'm guessing Filezilla wants my external and my computer's IP address to be the same, but I can't do that because my internet service provider refuses to give me their DNS address, which is required in order to set up a static IP. Furthermore, I don't even know why my IP has to be the same as external IP because when it was running fine last night, my internal and external IP didn't match, either. Any thoughts?-Puifai Top Profile Reply with quote da chicken Post subject: Re: ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by serverPostPosted: 2008-08-27 13:24 Offline 226 Transfer OK Joined: 2005-11-02 06:41 Posts: 619 In the Network configuration wizard, use the setting that will get the external IP by accessing FileZilla's server as in the attached screenshot. This configuration can only work if you are connected to the internet directly without any NAT router, and if you have set your firewall to allow incoming connections on all ports greater than 1024. If you have a NAT router, you need to tell FileZilla your external IP address in order for active mode connections to work with servers outside your local network: If you have a fixed external IP address, you can enter it in FileZilla's configuration dialog. If you have a dynamic IP address, you can authorize FileZilla to obtain your external IP addressError: Network Error: Connection Refused Error: Could Not Connect To Server
