seemed to do the trick. 1st, go to the directory where you installed Steam, and under steamapps/common you'll find your games. Go to a different game, that works, and copy this file: "steam_api.dll". It should be 122KB. Now go back and enter http://steamcommunity.com/app/211820/discussions/0/540739861966923563/ the super meat boy directory and paste the file. The local file is 117KB, if I'm not mistaken. 2nd, enter steam, go to your library and right click on SMB and click properties. On the "General Tab", click "Set Launch Options", and then write "-fullscreen -1024x768". You can click on this image to see it step-by-step. That is a sample resolution. Try different resolutions to see which one works for you I saw this fix posted by one of the game's devs, but I'm http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2736681 not sure where. Maybe on the SMB forum. Hope it works for you Linarde View Public Profile Search User Find More Posts by Linarde Find Threads by Linarde 06-06-2012, 08:32 AM #2 Calebros Join Date: Sep 2009 Reputation: 9 Posts: 63 It fixed the "Steam has encountered an unexpected error", so ty, have a rep Calebros View Public Profile Search User Find More Posts by Calebros Find Threads by Calebros Steam Users' Forums > Steam Game Discussions > Q - S > Super Meat Boy Could not create graphics device - Fix « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode Posting Rules You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts BB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is Off HTML code is Off Forum Rules All times are GMT -7. If there's any combination I may have missed but describes your computer, please specify. Maybe your video card needs to be changed or updated? You should do a virus check on that PC.
