If not then re-create the distribution list and check what happens. 2. Maybe a Distribution group has been recreated. Try to expand the distribution groups that are in the To/Cc/Bcc boxes. For those that you cannot expand: Delete the from the .nk2-file by starting to type the display name of the group in a To/Cc/Bcc field, set the focus on it when it appears in the drop down list and hitting the "Del" button. EMG 1 Comment Issue:Customer reported “Internal support function returned an error sending to Distribution list” Resolution: There is a duplicate, one-off contact in the DL, containing the Internet https://emg.johnshopkins.edu/?p=311 address for a member of the Microsoft Exchange Server Global Address List http://www.techrepublic.com/forums/discussions/outlook-2007-distribution-list-problemsssss/ (GAL). Do not use the identical display name for one-off contacts in a DL that also have Internet entries in the GAL. I've created "some" distribution lists and begin struggling when using any of the lists. Every Time when I am sendling to one the list an error message "An unexpected error occurred" pops and the email will not go through. I'd appreciate any comment that could be helped to solve this matter. Thanks Share Flag This conversation is currently closed to new comments. 11 total posts (Page 1 of 2) 01 | 02 Next + Follow this Discussion · | Thread display: Collapse - | Expand + All Answers Collapse - re: Outlook 2007 Distribution List problems by ThumbsUp2 · 9 years ago In reply to OUTLOOK 2007 DISTRIBUTION ... Create a new email and add just one of the distribution lists in the TO field. Click the plus sign next to it and expand all of the names on the list. Look for one or more names that do not underline themselves. That one will be the culprit in the distribution list. Close that email window, open the distribution list and remove the culprit. Save the list. Now, try a new email with that list and see if it goes through. Repeat the process until you've got them all working. 0Votes Share Flag Collapse - Outlook 2007 distribution
