response to Kane D'Ebano I get the same Error on my new iMac when trying to play an original dvd. The sound menu opens but as soon as I click a menu item I get a warning: error-69902What I find funny, is that if I start Front Row, the dvd plays perfectly!!!Does Anyone know how to fix this? ( I love my music dvd's playing in a small window while I work on my computer)ThanxA.M. Booted from external disk, started disk warrior and repaired directory. Then run disk utility and repaired permission. Upon reboot from Mac HD, DVD was working again.Worth giving it a try. When I open Front Row, as you suggest, I can play the DVD using keyboard controls, but I have no mouse function. Is that normal? DiskWarrior doesn't help, repair permissions neither. This problem appears not on all DVDs, but DVDs with this error work fine on others DVD PLayer or VLC.Doesn't work neither on FrontRow. With the DVD Player App, it gave me Error 69902. I also have downloaded and tried the VLC and that too was unsuccessful. I was watching this specific dvd on our PC without any problems. Does anyone have any insight to this? Is it the streaming level or something? I spend a LOT http://www.mac-forums.com/showthread.php?t=177134 of time infront of my computer and love to watch something while I work so this now silent environment is makin' me nuts!
