send back the machine, and you will receive a new one on exchange. If they are low on inventory at the distributor, someone over there may change the complete laser, or main circuit board assy. Some dealers if they have some spares in their inventory, they will exchange the machine as soon as you put it down on their counter with your bill of sale. In these low cost machines, the laser assy, and spindle motors have a high rate of failure. The main electronics except for the power supply are generally reliable. Usually a machine of this level should last about 2 years with average use. -- Greetings, Jerry Greenberg GLG Technologies GLG ========================================= WebPage http://www.zoom-one.com Electronics http://www.zoom-one.com/electron.htm ========================================= "John Massachusetts Pigye" <> wrote in message news:1.com... Multi-disc DVD PlayerDVD player not... Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Pinterest Share by Email × Question about Kenwood DV-6050 Multi-disc DVD Player 8 Answers DVD player not reading discs. Display says "loading", then "no disc" This problem just began a few days ago. I was reading a manual of a similar product, and it said that a power outage or something to that effect (being unplugged while on) could make the microprocessor malfunction. I tried the reset function instructions to see if it would work on my DVD player, but it didn't. I went into the setup of the dvd player, and saw that "DVD video playback" was switched to 'off'. I then tried another DVD but same problem. When I went back to the setup, I found that "DVD video playback' had went back to the 'off' setting. Is there a possible reset function for this DVD player? (I have since lost my user manual and can't find one online, not even at kenwood.ca) Posted by Cam Parisien on Jul 24, 2006 Want Answer 0 Clicking this will make more experts see the question and we will remind you when it gets answered. 10 Comments Flag More Print this page Share this page × Moderate Help this question get an answer Is this question mis-categorized or about a different product?
