The rear speakers also did not work when playing the radio via dash controls. Tonight while cleaning, I pulled the dvd player off the ceiling thinking maybe a dvd was stuck in the player. Found the cable was unplugged! Plugged the cable in and put back dvd player on ceiling. Turned on van to see what happened and quickly saw lights on the dvd player! Unfortunately, I ran the battery down by having doors open and interior lights on. We jumped the van but had tr

The dvd player is giving me a http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/factory-dvd-system-issues.13604/ lot of problems. The biggest issue is that 90 % of the time when the dvd is powered http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158357 on the disc regional error code comes up. I have tried multiple dvds all with the same result. The strange thing is that the other 10% of the time it actually works and will play just fine. I'm not sure if there is some sort of reset I can do to try and clear out the dvd player or what? The system from time to time also says disc load dvd player error and will eject at random. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and/or is this thing a lost cause. Thanks for any advice. I tried running a cd/dvd cleaner through the dvd player, but no luck. The disk cleaner ran ok on the front cd player, but not the dvd player. The rest of the DVD player functions work (fan, aux, etc). Is there a way to reset the system? (looking for suggestions and/or experience in effort to keep wife sane ). Thanks. REWARD EXCELLENCE! Is one able to accidentally set the region? If so, how do you set it back? BTW, does anyone know the original manufacturer of
