Essentially, all the oil on the motor's spindle has gone dry and the panasonic dvd player error codes motor gets to hot too fast. (I have cached a copy of the page with instructions just in case you come here via Google and the page linked to above ho7 error panasonic dvd player no longer works. The cache is here.) Apparently, the best solution to this problem (if it's worth the time, and I don't think it is) is to replace the spindle motor with something else (from this form post): i have repaired about 9 of these units ,the problem is with one of the three coils in the spindel it shorts sending BAdriver

Panasonic SUCKS!! Don't buy any Panasonic products because they won't provide you with any support. But anyway, does anyone have the same problem? Has anyone found a https://josephhall.org/nqb2/index.php/dvd_rp62 solution to this "H07" message on the display? Let me know via e-mail. David Massey Silver MemberUsername: SamijubalPost Number: 553Registered: Jul-04 Posted on Friday, December 31, 2004 - 20:12 GMTIt probably has a bad spindle motor, Panasonic is famous for them going bad. Open it and see http://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/112851.html if the disc spins, if not give it a little turn by hand, if it starts spinning the motor is defective. foreman202Unregistered guest Posted on Saturday, January 01, 2005 - 02:19 GMTPanasonic sucks they break bmccooeyUnregistered guest Posted on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 - 16:58 GMTActually, there is a fix for this. It is the spindle. Add a little oil to the spindle and let it sink in. You may want to do a little manual turn to work the oil in. You may have to remove some pieces to get at the spindle, but once you do, fixing it should be a snap. Can't guarantee how long the fix will last though. Just did this myself last night. I'll try your trick and see how it goes. I might use a Teflon based lubricant for the job. That stuff makes miracles. Well many people have spent hundreds on repair or bought a new unit. But i am here to tell you that it is okay to open up your dvd player and mess around in side. If panasonic dvd player your DVD player comes up with one of these errors the first thing you might want to try is to open up your DVD player by removing the screws on the side and the back (depending on the model), then plug the dvd player into power outlet with cover removed. Stick a disk in and press play and give the disk a little push. Most of the time the Spindle motor is dieing out when you get a H02 error. In this case that little push may get your spindle motor to rev back up back into action. And if your as succesful as me then hopefully you have just fixed your H02 error for free without doing much work. I just got a Panasonic HT95 Reciever/DVD player to play all disks again by giving the motor a little "kick start". If that doesnt work then follow this very useful guide on how to take apart the disk drive in your Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha dvd player, and apply new oil to that dying spindle motor: http://www.crestronforums.org/index.php?showtopic=3 And if anyone has ever expierced a problem with a Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha DVD player regarding one of these problems please post your story and make sure you complain to Panasonic. We shouldnt let them get away with this. I figured this out by reading a message posted by someone on this forum and i wanted to share my story and my expierence with the H02 error: http://www.howto
PlayerError Message H07 -... Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Pinterest Share by Email × Question about Panasonic DVD-CV52 DVD Player 3 Answers Error Message H07 - what is it? Half-way through watching a DVD (with no previous indications of a problem), the TV screen went blank, then showed the standard "blue screen" with the word "DVD" (like you see at the start of a movie when you first insert the DVD). The player however showed "Error H07", and it would no longer play the DVD. I tried a few other DVDs, no luck. I restarted the player, also no luck. What does "H07" mean, and does anyone have a fix for it? In the meantime, I will try to clean it as per the previous fix listed for "H02". HO7 message on unit, and not playing any disc. Mike Benneter Jan 24, 2008 Thanks...would have been a great solution to try if I still had my unit. Anonymous Feb 13, 2008 I have exactly the same problem, but when I review the Panasonic parts list there is no listing for a "spindle" motor. Since this model (DVD-CV52) is a 5-disk changer, perhaps the failed motor has a different name. Panasonic lists only two parts as motors for t
