DVD-RP62) has been experiencing. Essentially, all the oil on the motor's spindle has gone dry what does ho7 mean on a dvd player and the motor gets to hot too fast. spindle motor with something else (from this form post): i have repaired about 9 of these units ,the problem is with one of the three coils in the spindel it shorts sending BAdriver chip in to thermal shutdown . replace with 5.9/6volt low profile 1/2 spindel ,almost any spindel motor with thoes specs will work. Eleyan May 2013 hi ho7 means that the dvd player needs to go Gogegina June 2011 I read all the other posts and was ready to try them but when i opened the casing i plugged the dvd back in. It did the same thing, nothing happened and the ho7 code came up. So i opened the door one more time and then closed it, when it was trying to spin i gave the dvd a nudge and the dvd took off. I turned it off and back on to make sure it was truley fixed and it was fine. I think the gears were just stuck.
