Audio and video problems¶ Menu dvd player not spinning items can't be selected¶ Press the STOP button twice before selecting the system menu. Depending on the DVD, it is important to be aware that certain menu items will not always be selectable. Your remote or the buttons on the player may not be working- see below for repair information. Distorted or no picture¶ Make sure the proper input/output cables are plugged into the correct ports- red cord into the red port, yellow cord into the yellow port, white cord into the white port.Check your TV settings to ensure that it is on the proper mode.Sometimes a small amount of distortion may appear due to the disc. This is not a problem with the player. This would likely be evidenced by very occasional skipping issues.The DVD may be dirty or scratched- insert a clean DVD to make sure it isn't just the disc.
