It's 8 seasons with dvdfab error while reading hunger games 5 discs per season leaving me about 40 discs to rip. The first season went fine, no problems at all. The second dvdfab can't read dvd season I had issues with discs 2 and 3 stopping in the middle due to a read error. The third season did exactly the same thing on disc 4. After that, the rest of the entire box

set ripped completely without any issues and no errors. I thought there might be an issue with my DVD drive but I only had that problem on just a few discs. I also tried using a portable copy of DVD Decryptor on those bad discs and it seems that, after many retries, it was able to rip it successfully. My question is, is it normal for some DVDS to not rip properly because the dvdfab error 500 way they are made? Otherwise it would seem the issue is either with my drive or software and I can't see what those issues would be. Thanks! The only thing I notice is that DVD Decrypter will retry the same sector over 100+ times till it gets it. Slow but surely. Also, I have not used DVD Decrypter in a while. Was is the best setup? I know there are some additional plug ins that help with the decryption of some of the later protections. whether I pick and choose sections of the movie or I choose 'main film' and error message will come up saying 'error reading' and it gives me the option to 'ignore' or 'ignore dvdfab error 102 all.' I always choose 'ignore all' but then when I go to watch the film

of your help! Humpa24th July 2007, 00:18clean the dvd It sounds like there is either something wrong with the dvd or the dvd drive. You shouldn't get any errors reading the disc - if you do, http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/some-discs-giving-read-errors.744427/ you might want to consider returning the disc (that's what I do on the rare occasion that I have gotten errors). Unless this happens with all your disc's, of course. denialgal28th July 2007, 04:23it is doing it with every single dvd I back up using dvdfabdecrypter. It says 'error while reading! please choose what to do? retry...abort...ignore...ignore all' and I always choose ignore all. When I do this the film has a little http://forum.doom9.org/archive/index.php/t-128230.html glitch in all the places that there is an error read. Anyone else have further suggestions? setarip_old28th July 2007, 04:39Hi!it is doing it with every single dvd I back up using dvdfabdecrypter. Are these recently purchased NEW DVDs, recently purchased USED DVDs, or DVDs that you purchased some time ago? I ask this because, other than on rare occasion (bad pressing), NEW DVDs should not create this situation under DVDFab Decrypter - whereas OLD and/or USED DVDs certainly could create this situation. A silly question, perhaps, but I'll ask it anyway: Are you actually using "DVDFab Decrypter" or "DVD Decrypter"? If, in fact, you are using DVDFab Decrypter and are running into this problem with recently purchased NEW DVDs, your DVD reader/burner may be at fault. 1) Try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on it. Maxell makes one that sells for approximately $10US 2) If possible, slow down the read speed 3) Select "Retry" instead of "Ignore all" denialgal17th August 2007, 04:03These would be recently purchased used dvds that are newer films. For example, I bought Stranger than Fiction and had problems with it. I bought Pan's Labrynth and had the same problem with it. I also had the same problem with Happily N'Ever After. I have been using DVDFab decrypter because dvd decrypter will not allow me to

I dvdfab error basically want to a) be able to clone an origianl bluray movie b) be able to write ripped files from my pc i.e (BDMV & Cert folders) onto a BR-r/BR-re and be able to play in my BD player / PS3. i installed anyDVD HD but to be honest couldnt get hang of it not sure whats it does - seems like it just dvdfab error while removes the copy protection (do you use it in conjunction with another programme e.g nero ? However.. i have DVDFAB 8.0.6.0 (just updated to 8.0.6.1 today) and i have tried 2 movies to clone (ghostbuster and chrek1 3d) ghostbusters it recognised the disc but wouldnt even start reading the disc and shrek seems to get around 60%ish (tried several times fluctuates between 50-68%) then freezes and i get the error box with retry, ignore, ignore all, cancel. its starting to bug me now why wont this work? I also have nero (v7 i think) and i had a few bluray in .ISO format tried burning to a bd-re and it just crashes 1/2 way through. i have in the past successfully burnt (carefully word this...) "ripped" blurays which are 25gb (in bdmv/cert) format onto 25gb bd-r which play fine. to confirm i am using 50gb bd-re for the clone process.. please help me.. are there any other programmes i can try? 19-12-2010 #2 StormJumper Retired Moderator Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Aloha, OREGON Posts: 12,755 Re: DVDFAB - errors half way through reading bluray - help Quot
