Sounds like something is wrong with your server. I think that you will continue to need to do complete reinstalls until the server gets fixed. 0 Poblano OP JCritch Jun 23, 2010 at 3:07 UTC No. I don't believe the Windows XP Pro computer Spiceworks is on is the problem. My experience shows that Spiceworks is usually the problem. Interesting that with no further information you have come to that conclusion. You must be a democrat. I am still looking for an answer to this problem - because it occurs with every upgrade and leads to a complete uninstall and reinstall, reconfigure. Not interested in another such session. Is there any solution available for this problem? We've never been happy with the software. Is there any telephone support available? 0 OP Helpful Post Marcelo (Spiceworks) Jun 23, 2010 at 3:53 UTC JCritch, I left you a voicemail concerning your upgrade issue with my direct line. 16, 2004. Peter Guest OK. So I upgraded a Win2000 terminal server to SP4.Now, whenever users try to use any 16 bit application, the following error occurs "NTVDM has encountered a System Error. Access is Denied Choose Close to terminate the application" Can anyone help? Peter, Jun 16, 2004 #1 Advertisements Peter Guest Follow-up NTVDM has encountered a System Error Figured out what is going on. I am running Metaframe on this Win 2000 Term Serv. SP4 essentyially breaks Citrix Metaframe. Hotfix 324446 fixes the problem, but guess what...it breaks the NTVDM. I have replicated this on 3 Win2000 computers. 324446 breaks the Win2000 Sp4 NTVDM. Yuck. Let's hope MS fixes this before SP5. >-----Original Message----- > >OK.
