Solved Crystal Reports Print Engine error text: Error detected by database DLL Posted on 2003-09-11 Databases https://scn.sap.com/thread/3362493 2 Verified Solutions 4 Comments 2,883 Views Last Modified: 2012-06-21 Hi all, I have problem running Crystal report on a Windows 2000 machine where a fresh PeopleSoftS 7.5 HRMS was installed. Prior to this error when a user tried to run a Crystal report the PeopleSoft Crystal Run-time task doesn't even display and on her Process Monitor it say "Initiated". We had the same problem https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/20736588/Crystal-Reports-Print-Engine-error-text-Error-detected-by-database-DLL.html on another machine and when we installed Crystal 6 he was able to run crystal reports in Peoplesoft. So, we went to her machine (who has the problem) and installed Crystal 6. And now when she try to run a Crystal report from a peoplesoft panel, the PS Crystal Run-time task diplays on the Windows task bar and the Crystal viewer window appears briefly, then disappears. The following message appears in the message text in Process Monitor: "Crystal Reports Print Engine error text: Error detected by database DLL." This is a new error for me. We support PeopleSoft HRMS and PeopleSoft Financial. OS: Windows 2000 PS ver. 7.5 Crystal 6 Oracle 8.1.7 Any solution are greatly appreciated. thanks, jerry 0 Question by:JerryPSoft Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 6 Best Solution byPWinter Hi.
