to connect to server and receiving the following error:Error: Network Error 10054 Error Failed to accept client connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host Solution The Network Error https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms740668(v=vs.85).aspx 10054 is a socket error that is being reported to the WS_FTP Server from an outside application, network appliance or firewall. The reason this socket error occurs is because the server connection has been broken by something outside of the WS_FTP Server. The broken connection can take place anywhere between the WS_FTP Server and the user's FTP client. If there is only one user that experiences http://ipswitchft.force.com/kb/articles/FAQ/Network-error-10054 this issue, and you are not seeing any other Network Error in the WS_FTP Server log, then you can conclude the issue is caused by something on the client side. However, if you find the Network Error being reported in the WS_FTP Server log for multiple users, or connections from multiple locations, you should conclude the break in the connection is caused by something in your environment. You will need to review your WS_FTP Server Log to determine where to begin to troubleshoot this issue. Login to the WS_FTP Server Manager.Under the Home Tab/Manage Server, select Log Viewer.Select the Time to start at 00:00 and End at current time or end of day if you select a full log from prior date.Add Filter, change 'Service' to 'Type' through the dropdown.Next, change the 'Information' to 'Network Error'.View Logs. You will be able to determine if the Network Error only happens with the one user, or if it is effecting all users. Below you will find information from a couple of reliable links that should assist you in troubleshooting this error.http://ipswitchft.force.com/kb/articles/FAQ/Network-Errors-in-WS-FTP-Server-Log?retURL=%2Fkb%2Fapex%2FknowledgeHome&popup=falsehttps://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms740668%28v=vs.85%29.aspxConnection reset by peer.An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. for this postAna from IP address 209.221.240.193Hi everyone, We have installed Essbase v. 11.1.2 on our development server, and are in http://www.network54.com/Forum/58296/thread/1278539945/Network+Error+10054+Cannot+Receive+Data the process of migrating and testing our apps. I cannot run an aggregation for an ASO cube and am getting the following error message: Network Error [10054] Cannot Receive DataNetwork Error http://kb.ncomputing.com/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=69 [10054] Cannot Send Data I am working on a virtual machine with operating system Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition. The maximum allowed memory on the machine is 4 GB. I error 10054 have had no problems with any of the BSO cubes that were migrated. We are assuming that the error message is caused because there is insufficient memory to allow the aggregation to run, but I would like to know if there is any other possible reason for this error message to occur in this situation. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks network error 10054 in advance for your help! Scoring disabled. If yes... Can you load your app (apparantly you can as you are trying to agg it)? Can you get data from level 0 without agging it? If yes... Did you open the apps and resave them after migrating them to migrate the code? If yes... Can you create a new app --Copy the outline and rules to the new app -----Reload -------Reagg This would rule out corruption of the object... More later if those do not work...Scoring disabled.
