(No problems connecting remotely) See screenshot below: I've tried adding SynAttackProtect value on registry but error is still the same. Thanks in advance. sql sql-server-2005 share|improve this question asked Apr 14 '15 at 2:36 Gelo Reyes 2926 If I understand you correctly, sql error 10054 you are going on to the server and trying to connect to the network instance of the server. If you are on the machine, you need to use localhost instead of the network IP address –paqogomez Apr 14 '15 at 2:42 I tried using localhost\sql2005, .\sql2005 and the name of the server but the error is still the same. –Gelo Reyes Apr 14 '15 at 2:44 1 Show the services node in SQL Server Configuration Manager for that machine. Also, open the errorlog file directly (this tip shows how to do that from Configuration Manager) and see what state is being recorded. Then match that state up with the states listed here. –Aaron Bertrand Apr 14 '15 at 3:17 this is the error log file link and this is the services node link –Gelo Reyes Apr 14 '15 at 3:49 Not sure which user you are using but sa and recsys have several failed logins, are you using either/both of those on these failed attempts? –Dbloch Apr 15 '15 at 15:47 | show 1 more comment active oldest votes Know someone who can answer

The solutions i tried are:1) SQLExpress creates a directory per user in "c:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Data\SQLEXPRESS" that it uses to store information. Deleting this directory has fixed problem. (But not at my side )2) Restart IIS.plz reply me asap. Its urgent.Thanx in Advance.
