on my local machine; up to this point I have never had an issue with the Studio or the network configuration. sql error 10054 when accessing table However, after my computer ran the scheduled IT update earlier this week, I can no longer access my instance. When I open the studio and try to connect, I get the following error: "A connection was https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms187005(v=sql.105).aspx successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (Provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 10054) "When I attempt to connect again I get a very similar message:"A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (Provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The specified https://scn.sap.com/thread/3349412 network name is no longer available.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 64) "I have tried countless solutions but none have resolved the issue. Has anyone seen this issue before who can offer some insight as to how to fix it?
