When I'm trying to start MySQL service I'm getting error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly. Log message: 101111 22:27:11 [Note] Plugin 'FEDERATED' is disabled. Mysql 1067 Invalid Default Value For Current_timestamp
2005 05:41AM Hello All, I'm fairly new to MySQL and have encountered an installation problem. windows could not start the mysql service on local computer error 2 I am trying to install the windows service. Running mysqld --install seems to work OK and the service appears in the Services index error 1067 the process terminated unexpectedly mysql xampp as MySQL set to automatic. However, when I try and start the service I get the following error: Could not start the MySQL service on Local Computer. Error 1067: The program terminated unexpectedly. MySQL is installed at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4158965/1067-error-on-attempt-to-start-mysql C:\Program Files\MySQL\mysql\ The service has the correct path to the executable & the registry seems to be correct. Any help would be very much appreciated - many thanks. When i check the .err log file under MySql data mysql error 1067 folder, the log details are as per below. Steps i follwed for creating a new Mysql Instance as a window service: I have stopped the existing Mysql service (Mysqld) using mysqladmin.exe -u root -p shutdown. I havecopied the contents of Mysql data folder located at C:\Programdata\Mysql\Mysql Server 5.6\data to the data directory location on new instacnce which is locate at G:\MYSQL. And i have created a my.ini file with following lines client [Mysqld] Server [Mysqld] port=3306 basedir="C:\Program Files\Mysql\Mysql Server 5.6\" datadir="G:\Mysql\" server_id=1 Now from CMD i ran the following command to create the Mysql instance as window service mysqld.exe --install mysqld --defaults-file="G:\Mysql\my.ini" the service has been created Sucessfully But i am getting an error while i am trying to start the Service as Net start Mysqld from CMD. System Error Occured Error 1067 Process Terminated Unexpectdely Any help can be Appreciated.
