Any other software I try to open from that moment halts halfway and never actually starts.Another issue, perhaps related, is that the external drive rarely appears on the finder at startup. I need to unplug it and plug it again in order for the computer to find it.System:21.5-inch, late 2009PRocessor 3,06 Ghz Intel Core 2 DuoMemory 16 Gb 1067 MHz DDR3GRaphics ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MbSoftware OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)I'ev already tried several solutions suggested elsewhere for cases for Finder crashing:-repairing permissions-re-indexing volumes-uninstalled Google DrivePlease let me know how to proceed. I have Time Machine installed, but I don't know if it can be used to revert the system to a previous (stable) estate.Any suggestions will be welcome, thanks.
