Right-click the Windows Start button and select Explore. Before copying the installation files, create a new folder (for example, on your desktop) to copy the files to: Create a new folder on your desktop by selecting Desktop in the left pane of the open window. With the location selected in the left pane, from the File menu select New, and then select Folder. When the new folder appears in the right pane, type a name for that folder, such as "QuickBooks." In the left pane, browse to the QuickBooks CD-ROM, right-click, and select Explore. In the right pane, locate the QBooks and ThirdParty folders, and the setup.exe file.
