It *may* have happened after installing the Norton Security Suite, provided by our ISP. Because she started having problems and didn't tell me right away, I'm not sure. It began with having problems connecting wirelessly. I fiddled around with it and ultimately restored the wireless capability by disabling then enabling the wireless adapter. During the course of working on this problem it was discovered the machine was infected, but we got it clean. A few weeks ago, she again started having problems with the wireless and nothing I've done (including re-installing the driver) has fixed it. I think I've gotten to a poin
