"Patch probably updated by other means and can not be modified by this patch". QuickBooks Web page advises to rename file C:/Config.Msi\PT** to resolve problem. Have done that (three times), however everytime the comptuer is turned off and QuickBooks is opened a new C:/Config.Msi\PT** folder is generated and the circle continues. The QuickBooks Pro 2006 is a discontinued product and hasn't been updated in over a year, This problem started about a month or so ago. I guessing it's in the Windows Updates.
