Citrix Ssl Error 4 Proxy Denied Access
113 posts Posted 14 September 2006 - 08:04 AM Just set up a new server to replace an old CSG server.The new server is a 2003 SP1 server with CSG3 and WI4 installed.Tested it online this morning.I could connect to the WI site from the internet and log in. I was then able to view my apps.However, when I try and launch an app I get the following error:Cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame serverSSL Error 4: The proxy denied access to;40;STA01;957452FF9D5E7D8892E2AFE0C3838F3A port 1494The new server has two SSL certificates (one for WI and one for CSG). These work fine and are for the correct hostnames.My MetaFrame (PS4) server on the internal LAN is running fine (and my old CSG server can connect to it fine still). XML service is on port 80.All the relevant ports are open on the firewall, and I can telnet to 1494 on the P

Back to top Report #13 Support Support Staff Administrators 1,149 posts Posted 23 October 2014 - 09:21 PM There is no issues anymore Doug - at the time this was posted we had a backend auth server fail, it was fixed long ago - if your getting this error then make sure you are using the service user/pass and NOT your billing account login details. Tried again, Error -4 I'd like to understand what happens when the proxy doesn't respond in error 4 the checkMyTorents, but the the other torrents are still downloading - are the torrents exposing my IP, which defies the purpose of a proxy? This problem keeps showing up and I can't possibly monitor my torrents downloads continuously. "Basically when you set a proxy nothing will download unless the proxy is working - if the proxy fails you need to remove the proxy so that downloads go through your ISP, if you are downloading when proxy is set your fine, its downloading through the proxy." I took that to mean that as long as the proxy info is input into the downloader, in my case utorrent, then your IP wont be exposed. I'm hopeful that what he meant at least. So if your torrents are downloading while the proxy settings are all setup then the proxy is working - sometimes the IP check torrent can produce errors server side and clear up later, we are in the pr
