Today I discuss an insidious issue you can see with USMT when you have previously migrated computers between forests with ADMT. This scenario is rare enough that I didn't bother with a KB article - not to mention it's easier to explain with pictures and "wit". If you get into it though, you will need the right answer, as there are some wrong answers floating around the Internet. What you see You will only have issues here during the loadstate operation, dropping data onto a fresh new computer. At first blush, the error will be generic and useless: Error while performing migration Failed. Software malfunction or Unknown exception See the log file for more information. LoadState return code: 26 But if you look at the loadstate.log (having made sure to provide /v:5 on the command-line), you see: Info [0x000000] Apply started at 4/18/2011 21:17:39 Error [0x000000] Invalid user mapping: BYAIR\testuser1 -> S-1-5-21-4187903345-2522736461-4139203548-1110 Info [0x080000] Received request to restart the explorer process from context: SYSTEM Info [0x000000] Leaving MigApply method Error [0x000000] Error while performing migration Warning [0x000000] Internal error 2 was translated to a generic error Info [0x000000] Failed.[gle=0x00000091] Inf

In Task Sequence report I found the following when trying to restore user profile USMT returned exit code (0xc0000006) Look USMT log file loadstate.log for details messages UInvoking ReleaseSource on USMTPackageing path \\servername.domian.com\smspkgf$\s0100006 OSDMigrationUserState finished 0xc0000006 everything else deploy successfully apply image and join to domain with softwares I log in with admin privilege and show hid folders and protected folder to check if I can find C:\_SMSTaskSequence\userState but it was not available which is mean problem start from capturing. I'm confusing because I didn't face this issue with other machines profile restoring was successfully I check Scansate.log on client machine a
generic error responses in the event of 4xx or 5xx HTTP status codes, these responses are rather stark, uninformative, and can be intimidating to site users. You may wish https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/custom-error.html to provide custom error responses which are either friendlier, or in some language other than English, or perhaps which are styled more in line with your site layout. Customized error responses can be defined for any http://www.process.com/docs/multinet5_4/MESSAGES/Ch02.htm HTTP status code designated as an error condition - that is, any 4xx or 5xx status. Additionally, a set of values are provided, so that the error document can be customized further based on the values error 4 of these variables, using Server Side Includes.
