[winerror 6] The Handle Is Invalid Selenium
the following is my project file { "folders": [ { "path": "/W/MyOrg/MyApp", "folder_exclude_patterns": ["_ReSharper.*", "bin", "obj"] } ] } I select the msbuild40 build system and hit Build and get the output: [Error 6] The handle is invalid [Finished] I'm not even sure if this is a python or an msbuild error. Which is it, how can I fix it, and whats a good way to troubleshoot this sort of stuff in the future? Update I tried updating my oserror: [winerror 6] the handle is invalid project to the following and using that build and still no dice { "folders": [ { "path": "/W/MyOrg/MyApp", "folder_exclude_patterns": ["_ReSharper.*", "bin", "obj"] } ], "build_systems": [ { "name": "msbuild", "cmd": ["c:\\Windows\\Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\v4.0.30319\\MSBuild.exe", "w:\\MyOrg\\MyApp\\MyApp.sln"] } ] } msbuild sublimetext sublimetext2 share|improve this question asked May 3 '12 at 20:00 George Mauer 35.6k81246466 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 12 down vote accepted Turns out that this happens whenever you start sublime from command line ( I was starting it via a powershell alias). You can fix this by using a batch file and the START command. I created sublime_text.bat: START "Sublime Text 2" "C:\Program Files\Sublime Text 2\sublime_text.exe" %* and set my powershell alias to that bat file. Now everything works. share|improve this answer answered May 4 '12 at 15:50 George Mauer 35.6k81246466 1 That's mighty annoying. I live in the command line so I never start ST2 (or anything else) except from the CLI. Thanks for sharing this! –sehe Dec 9 '12 at 15:26 Thank you veeeeery much! This solved a problem I had with using SublimeREPL: github.com/wuub/SublimeREPL/issues/271 –L42 Aug 3 '15 at 9:42 Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work with ST3's subl.exe. I could only get it to work with sublime_text.exe. :( –Andreas Haferburg Jan 27 at 9:36 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Si

AsciiDoc.sublime-build: { "cmd": ["asciidoctor","$file"], "selector": "source.asciidoc" } When I execute the build Ctrl+B, I get an error: [WinError 6] The handle is invalid [cmd: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29079252/sublime-text-build-system-generates-winerror-6-the-handle-is-invalid-error ['asciidoctor', 'C:\\Users\\XXXX\\Desktop\\hello\\hello.asc']] [dir: C:\Users\XXXX\Desktop\hello] [path: c:\tools\ruby193\bin\asciidoctor] [Finished] I'm able to successfully render the document via the Windows Command Processor, the PowerShell, and the Ruby prompt. This build script leads to the same error: { "cmd": ["asciidoctor","$file"], "path": "c:\\tools\\ruby193\\bin\\asciidoctor", "shell": true, "selector": "source.asciidoc" } What am I missing? powershell sublimetext windows-7-x64 ruby-1.9.3 asciidoctor share|improve this question asked Mar 16 '15 at 14:25 craig 14.5k1262110 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote accepted Found a solution: Build system: "The handle is invalid". The final response: by showka on Sun Oct 02, 2011 7:34 pm Thank you very much, launching Sublime Text outside of the command prompt gets rid of this problem. I've tried setting PYTHONPATH to run from the prompt but that won't fix it. My command prompt has so much goo in the environment variables I'm sure something else is tripping it up as well. :) For now I'll just make a second batch file to launch Sublime with certain programs added to the path. ... UPDATE: I found the issue and can now run it
