at 6:58 UTC what type of drive is installed? LTO 2,3,4,etc 0 Poblano OP Dave Strzemienski Nov 14, 2013 at 6:59 UTC LTO 3 Thanks. 0 Serrano OP Best Answer Samuel (Dell) Nov 14, 2013 at 9:10 UTC Brand Representative for Dell Hello Dave Strzemienski, Here is a link to the users guide for an LTO3 tape drive. ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_powervault/powervault-lto3-080_User%27s%20Guide_en-us.pdf The A on the drive just means that the drive didn’t go back to the home position. all you need to do is to hold in the eject button for 20 seconds and the drive will reboot. Once the drive reboots then make sure that the A error doesn’t return. If the drive comes back as a ready state then try to run your backup & see if you get the same error again. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
