in my app (no actionscript!). Is it possible that this error comes from some newrelic.jar class ? tdoherty 2014-07-07 15:33:00 UTC #3 Hi https://discuss.newrelic.com/t/error-calling-method-on-npobject/2964 Daniel, It is difficult to say what might be causing this. But as an initial troubleshooting step, lets try to eliminate some of your browswer addons. Can you try use Chrome in Incognito mode, or with all addons disabled and see if this helps? Please let us know how that goes for you. Also, it would be very useful to know if your page error calling has any adds in it, Google, Bing etc. Tom daniel_goldberg 2014-07-07 18:21:31 UTC #4 Hi Tom, thanks for reply. We don't have any addon in our page. I could not reproduce the error. I tested the page with IE, Firefox and Chrome (Mac and Windows environment) and nothing happens but in our page, in the last six hours, we had 65 NPObject error. We only have error calling method one js library (Strophe - https://github.com/strophe/strophejs) but it doesn't need any flash file. Do you have additional information about this error in our app? alexis 2014-07-08 16:40:04 UTC #5 To help us investigate this further, can you provide a URL to the page on your site where you're seeing this error occur? That way we can take a look at how the New Relic monitoring scripts are being injected and what they may be interacting with. NPObject is not only used for Flash or Actionscript (although this is a very common case where it appears); it's an interface to any foreign (non-Javascript) code. It also would be helpful if you could provide a permalink to the application your site is reporting to in New Relic. To create a permalink to any page within the New Relic user interface, scroll to the bottom and click 'Permalink ∞' all the way on the right next to 'Kiosk Mode.' This will show us the exact page and time period that you are observing. It's safe to post a permalink on the forum; only New Relic staff and users with existing access to you
