I have tried to uninstall the programme but each time I get the error communicating error message "A network error occured while attempting to read from the file: C:\Windows\Installer\eav_nt32_enu.msi" I have attempted to install two service packs as recommended on this website: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839174 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885055 ...but this has also not solved the problem. If anybody could advise me of how I can resolve this issue I would be most grateful error communicating with as I am so worried that I currently do not have any anti-virus software running on my computer. However, though Nod appears to now be up and running, when I click on "Smart Scan" or "Custom Scan" I get the message "Failed to Run a Scan".
