loop on: Newsgroups: gmane.comp.java.cruise-control.user Date: Tuesday 13th May 2008 20:51:14 UTC (over 8 years ago) I've downloaded the source for 2.7.2 from the repository, and built it on a linux system by running release.sh. At the end, the build indicates that it was successful, so https://sourceforge.net/p/cruisecontrol/mailman/message/22488753/ I copy the dashboard.war and cruisecontrol.war files to my Tomcat install, and restart Tomcat. I have my config.xml and dashboard-config.xml files located in my work directory when my logs, artifacts and project dierctories are. I run the .../main/bin/cruisecontrol.sh http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.cruise-control.user/21009 downloaded with the source. When I try and force a build from the dashboard interface, I get the error in the subject line. Clearly it doesn't know who it's talking to, but I can't figure out why. Both Tomcat and the build loop are running on the same system, and I know I had this working before, but it may have been with a binary download of cruisecontrol. Any help would be hugely appreciated! Actually iam working in server system(i.e, vss system) to add my application to error communicating cruise control. so here no chance to give server problems. When I build my application it builds all the pages one by one but end message is integration complete: Exception (it shows in server log). And exception like previously I sent. I think cruise control needs some more data. Any help from you will be greatly appreciated. Guanglei Li wrote: Normally, the error message will contain the host name which the build loop is running on, like "Error communicating with build loop on: myhost". If you can't see the host name at the end of the error message, I think there might be a DNS issue. Can you see the server name on the top left of the Dashboard page? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
