The utility then abends. The load library you are attempting to scan is small, with very few members. The problem occurs no matter what version of the utility you use. Symptom You have REGION=0M coded on your JOBCARD, and do not have any size restrictions on the region being imposed by operating system exits. Cause The Batch Language Environment (LE) runtime options are forcing all storage to be obtained below the line. Since DFHEISUP is run as a batch job, the batch LE runtime options module CEEDOPT is used to determine the storage requirements. If you have coded ALL31(OFF) and HEAP(xx,xx,BELOW) in your CEEDOPT module, you will be forcing GETMAIN's to occur below the line. Resolving the problem Change your batch LE runtime options module CEEDOPT to have storage obtained above the line. To use storage above the line, parameter ALL31(ON) should be coded, and the various STACK and HEAP parameters should specify ANYWHERE instead of BELOW.
