Cannot set the command text for data set 'ScoreboardOLAP'. Error during processing of the CommandText expression of dataset ‘ScoreboardOLAP’ Can anyone help at all here? I've seen about 10 articles on this one but none appear to be relevant. I have a complex report comprising many sub-reports which runs successfully in a development environment. When deployed to an environment which comprises a separate report sever and report server DB I get the above error even when I try and browse to any of the sub-reports. The sub-report is using an OLEDB connection to an SSAS DB and its command text is set as:- =Code.GetQueryString(parameters) Where GetQueryString is a function in the code section of the report which returns some MDX based on the supplied parameters. I obviously know the function works because it works in development mode. I have tried to determine what is going on from the logs but the only messages I get are those above. I've set the data sources on the server up to use valid Windows Credentials stored on the server so I don't believe the issue is one of authentication Any thoughts or tips in helping to diagnose the cause of the problem would be greatly appreciated. The default security policy for ReportServer is NOT to allow code to be executed. Therefore any references to Code.

(rsProcessingAborted) Cannot set the command text for dataset 'DATASET_NAME'. (rsErrorSettingCommandText) Error during processing of the CommandText expression of dataset ?DATASET_NAME?. (rsQueryCommandTextProcessingError) The report is using two parameters based on two different datasets. The dataset of Parameter_1 is defined by the following query (this is just a simple example for better understanding): =IIf(Parameters! Parameter_2.Value Is Nothing,"select 1","select https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/849f65e9-3765-4c64-8cfe-96b49996a92b/error-during-processing-of-the-commandtext-expression-of-dataset?forum=sqlreportingservices 2") Solution Check if the query is not missing any quotes. If this doesn?t solve the problem take a look at the parameters order. ... The mistake in this case is that the Parameter_ 1 which is located before Parameter_2 in the parameters list has the dataset defined based on a Parameter_2?s value. Switching the parameters order from Report Builder interface will solve http://blog.sql-assistance.com/index.php/cannot-set-the-command-text the problem.
