Today, for the first time I tried to create a DVD of three wedding picture slideshows on one DVD.I created the project without a problem using the "Revelution" theme but when it came to burning the DVD i repeatedly get the error: *+"Error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows - There was an error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows. The burning process has been canceled."+* This seems to happen at the end of rendering the main menu. I have already tried taking out one of the slideshows incase there was too much data and trying to render it as a disk image instead of direct to DVD but I still get this error every single time. Please tell me what I am doing wrong! Thanks in Advance - Cyrus MacBook Pro 17" 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 2Gb RAM Posted on Aug 10, 2008 12:08 AM I have this question too Close Q: iDVD "Error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows" for new slid All replies Helpful answers by chattte, chattte Aug 10, 2008 12:30 AM in response to CyrusJH Level 1 (0 points) Aug 10, 2008 12:30 AM in response to CyrusJH same here.anyone found the solution? So I figure, why not try encoding them in iDVD and send a physical DVD to her? So I get all the video assets placed on the disc, but when I click the burn option or try to make a disc image, I always get to about error during rendering halfway through the preparation of the disc and it bombs out with an error message saying "There was an error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows. The burning process has been canceled." Now I feel like an idiot, but there are no slideshows on this disc. And the only thing I can think of that I am doing wrong in the menus is that I am putting one of my iMovie-made videos in the drop zone. That aside, I have no idea what I could be doing wrong. I do not even know what information to provide at this juncture. *sigh* It's still a thousand times more flexible than my old IBuM, I must say...
