Personally I'm not interested but it at least gets people into the game for less which is always welcomed. Last edited by Sid3ways; Jun 01, 2011 at 08:49 AM. With only an Atmega48 I guess buyers won't be able to use any of the newer KK firmwares, the XX by Mike an the XX_kr modified by Minsoo, that require more than 4kB flash? - Jun 01, 2011, 05:41 AM #3 timecop timecop Suspended Account Joined Dec 2010 11,763 Posts Finally, the death of $100 kk boards on FS/W! LOL it is the Hobbyking way! So the Blue/Black KK boards will live on for a while longer. I am building a tricopter (http://www.fpvmanuals.com/tricopter) which means i need to flash the KK board. When using the kkMulticopter Flash Tool 0.76 I get an error that reads:---------------------------------------------------------------------------avrdude.exe: warning: cannot set sck period. please check for usbasp http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1448802&page=13 firmware update.avrdude.exe: error: programm enable: target doesn't answer. 1 avrdude.exe: initialization failed, rc=-1 Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override this check.avrdude.exe done. Thank you.Error during setting the fuses.------------------------------------------------------------------------- My USBasp AVR I got is listed here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DU4 ... I am a novice at best with http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5164 builds. This is actually my first build and exposure to tricopters. I am need for some help. The good news is that your windows drivers are morenthan likely installed properly.are you plugging in the kkboard to usbasp properly ? If there is a led on kkboard it may come on for just a second. Did you rrmove all esc and receivers from kkboard ? The usbasp cant supply enough power for all of that. Lastly does your usbasp even provide power to the kkboard. Most usbasp will provide power but yours is one i havent seen before. the same error C:\Users\Daryl\Desktop\KK board\lib\avrdude\windows\avrdude.exe -C C:\Users\Daryl\Desktop\KK board\lib\avrdude\windows\avrdude.conf -p m168p -P usb -c usbasp -B 8 -e -U lfuse:w:0xe2:m -U hfuse:w:0xde:m avrdude.exe: error: could not find USB http://fpvlab.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-5180.html device with vid=0x16c0 pid=0x5dc vendor='www.fischl.de' product='USBasp' avrdude.exe done. Thank you. Error during setting the fuses. Flashing of firmware aborted. Ive gone through multiple support forums and followed every bit of instruction and followed driver instal instruction. It never works, it cant see the USBasp programer. One this I did differently from Davids instruction is plug the connector directly into the board because the new programmer now error during comes with a 6 pin header and its supposed to work with this programmer and kk board combo. I believe this because the board does power up(flashes one red led once) and it provides power to my rx. Any help you guys can provide would be awesome. ...im down to a point where I just want to mail the HK kk board to someone who has got error during setting it to work to have them program it for me. Or meet up if you are near the San Antonio area. h0tr0d24th April 2012, 03:09 PMThat didn't work with my friends HK kk board either. I had to use a different program to get it to flash. I used the usbasp programmer. Let me see if I've got the program I used laying around somewhere. Try this one: http://lazyzero.de/en/modellbau/kkmulticopterflashtool And if that doesn't work let me know and I'll dig up that chinese program I used lol. SilviaSGP0624th April 2012, 03:23 PMawesome thanks, Ill try it when I get off from 'work'. IF you do however get bored and want to search and send the program anyway you can send it to. h0tr0d24th April 2012, 03:28 PMShot the program over to you along with the instructions. You should probably remove that email address before a spam bot catches it. :D -Pat SilviaSGP0624th April 2012, 04:13 PMdone, and thanks man! SilviaSGP0624th April 2012, 06:42 PMthe first link turned out to be one of the places I tried, so Ill try what you sent me. SilviaSGP0624th April 2012, 07:41 PMGood news, I was able to flash it! bad news,
