Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.baazee.com/customjsp/myBaazee/myBaazee_main.jsp 2. Put any information as username and password 3. Click "Secure Login" Actual Results: The error received is "Error establishing an encrypted connection. Error code: -5990" followed by an "operation timeout" error. I set my firefox proxy setting onĀ : use system proxy setting. Also i have no problem when using firefox in my kubuntu linux. Other browser in my system (IE) have no problem with ssl website. If some site forces https, you have no alternative but to switch browsers.Well, you might also try to update your old firefox's code to the latest openssl, but that'd be a bit involved. Dillo in TC 6 is compiled to use https, real lightweight. Not the best at rendering but likely a very reasonable alternative to very outdated Firefox. It's hard to do a lot of surfing without encountering https.
