I currently am attempting to use the perl upload tool and I have absolutely confirmed that I have ftp ownership on every folder and file. I have also made every file writeable, probably more than I need.. And still I get this error. ERROR: Failed to find flength file Then it seems its still trying to upload after posting the error and then craps out, but no uplaoding bar pops up or anything. It also seems to generate a file on the server, but no video appears in the system. Youtube and other 3rd party videos seems to work just fine, only problem is uploading them which is pretty important. PLEASE HELP! Last Edit: 6 years 7 months ago by funkmanusa. Which version of hwdVideoShare are you using? Can you provide the URL to the ubr_upload.pl script? The topic has been locked. I was hosted in www.hostgator.com. and the script was working fine very nice. secondly i hosted my site in www.hostupon.com used .htaccess files did all setting doesent work in the sense file uploads fine only the problem with progress bar. later i tried to figure out the problem it creates flength flile, but dont know why it cant find it. i saw clearly that directory and the flenght file later it becomes redirect file .. thats it... but error shows in uploader page. then i thought of installing the script in my local computer, i have windows xp and i installed apache and php in it downloaded activeperl to run the pl script ... and made the neccessory settings .. in .conf file the script running very good without any problem. i think this occors in some of the severs, or they dont configure the conf files correctly. thanks thats it... thank you very much for your support i found lot of fourms with your answers... really dedicated person. thanks
