needed with CD-RW drive Discussion in 'Hardware' started by Reflection, Jun 5, 2005. Reflection Private E-2 Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me out. I can't seem to burn CD-R/CD-RW's on my CD-RW anymore. I use Windows Media Player, it worked fine before. After it's done converting the files, this message comes up - Windows Media Player cannot copy files to the recordable disc 0xC00D11AB: Cannot copy files to recordable disc Windows Media Player cannot copy the selected files to the CD-R or CD-RW disc. To fix the problem, do one or more of the following: Clean the disc and ensure that it is not damaged. Select a slower recording (write) speed. Try a different brand of CD-R or CD-RW disc. Quit other programs. To select a slower recording speed On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Devices tab. In Devices, double-click the name of the CD-R or CD-RW drive, and then click the Recording tab. In the write-speed list, select a slower speed. Error ID = 0xC00D11AB, Condition ID = 0x00000000Click to expand... I've tried the following: Different brand of CD-R or CD-RW discs: Quit programs. Selected a slower recording speed But still no success, I haven't bought a CD cleaning kit yet, though. Could that be part of the problem? I've looked everywhere for help. Thanks.
