This server runs on a desktop computer. I am running MySQL database on another desktop computer. Both computers are hardwired to a hub. Both computers have 192.168.1.x addresses https://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-OS-Smartphones/error-id-30641/td-p/1198925 with proper subnets. After what seems to be a random period of time (sometimes hours, sometimes days), the application server will execute a query and receive an error 2013 from the MySQL server. The queries that the server is running are all basically the same. And I have the following code included which is supposed to reconnect the connection when its dropped: my_bool https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=30641 reconnect = 1; mysql_options(DBHandle, MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT, &reconnect); I dont think that there is any network issue, partly because its just two computers right next to each other on the same LAN and hub, but also because I have other network connections open between these machines (file sharing and remote control), which do not get interrupted. The query that fails frequently is "select last_insert_id()", although other queries fail as well. How to repeat: Not really sure...this is somewhat of a nebulous problem that doesnt seem directly correlated to any sepcific steps. Suggested fix: If reconnect is specified as above, then it should reconnect even if the connection has dropped. Please Login to Remove! So I'm a new BlackBerry user. I just got a Curve 9300 through Koodo. Their self serve site is being a POS and isn't letting me check out my account, though I *should* have the BlackBerry connect plan on my phone. Internet and everything else works fine, just can't connect error id to the App World to even register. Is this something wrong on my end, or an issue with my provider?? edit: got into my account and I do have the BlackBerry Connect plan edit again: The exact error I get is: "BlackBerry App World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again. (Error Id: 30641)" Last edited by Geezle : 09-08-2011 at 11:24 PM. Try to register from PC then connect your BB via USB cable to your PC where you have a good wireless coverage then using your registered account download App world to BB in normal conditions it should work. I had been trying to just connect using my BlackBerry. As suggested I signed up using my computer and now my BlackBerry is talking to the App World server, and everything is working like it's supposed to. Thanks!
