I had to go back and start again and which point the error 503s came up said "Sorry for th incovenience. Currently there is a system issue preventing request from being processed." MI Interests:trains, music, guitars Posted 12 February 2012 - 01:10 AM From wikiThe server failed to fulfill an apparently valid request.[2]Response status codes beginning with the digit "5" indicate cases in which the server is aware that it has encountered an error or is otherwise incapable of performing the request. Except when responding to a HEAD request, the server should include an entity containing an explanation of the error situation, and indicate whether it is a temporary or permanent condition. Likewise, user agents should display any included entity to the user. These response codes are applicable to any request method.503 Service Unavailable The server is currently unavailable (because it is overloaded or down for maintenance).[2] Generally, this is a temporary state.http://en.wikipedia....xx_Server_Errorso could be a server problem or down for maintenance. Show this post I just want to check, because I don't see much discussion about this. I'm receiving HTTP 503 A LOT. Sometimes when authenticating, requesting a request token. If I get past that (which seems pretty rare), sometimes when simply trying to download a file. Anyone else? I know there have been error id load issues on the servers, just wasn't sure if it affected api.discogs.com. In my experience they normally result in requests that aren't replied to (a bit like when a request is firewalled) or explicit connection refused results. Also, sometimes it works. HTTP 503 is normally related to a server level overloading rather than relating to an individual client. AFAIK all rate limits are being adhered to. So is no-one else seeing this?
