My error is event ID 8226, source is NSSDK.MfpifValidator.1. I believe it is my sharp scanner dropping packets. Like Ke3vin5754 we have a networked Sharp (AR-M257) printer, scanner and copier as well. If ten years ago it was still common to see an entire company using just one server, these days that's no longer the case. New computers are added to the network with the understanding that they will be taken care of by the admins. Keeping an eye on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming process. When the display goes blank, the power light on the tower is still on, the indicators on the keyboard are still lit, however the light on the monitor is flashing.
