I have configured 2008 R2 SP1 as a addition domain controller & Keep it ready. I have run all theprerequisits & Installed Exchange 2010 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/297295 SP1 Setup on another WindowsServer 2008 R2 SP1 Server, where i was gettingerror as System Attendent Service is trying to start but its stop responding & Mailbox Server roles installation Cancled but HUB / CAS Installed successfully. I have modified Settings inADSI Edit & rerun the setup & Mailbox Server is also installed. So left it as it was. >> Disjoined the machine from domain. >> Reset Exchange machine account. >> Rejoined the domain. >> As logging on would take long time, we disabled Exchange servers. >> Changed the startup type to default, then ran preparelegacyexhangepermissions,preparead,preparedomain. >> Then Connected to Schema container- "cn=schema,cn=configuration,dc=

Comments: Anonymous I had the same problem on a Exchange 2003 cluster. This problem occurs when some AD Security Groups (Exchange Domain Servers and Exchange Enterprise Servers) are moved for another Organizational Unit than Users OU. Move groups back to error id 9157 Users OU and the problem will be disappear. Anonymous If you get this error, verify that the Group "Exchange Domain Servers" and "Exchange Enterprise Servers" are still part of the default Container "Users". If someone moved the group in another OU, move it back, and restart Exchange Services. Note: This error occurs only if you have restarted the Exchange Server. x 19 Anonymous In my case, this message occurred while installing a new Exchange server in an existing Exchange environment. The setup process hanged at "Starting MSExchangeSA Service" stage and this message start to appear every minute in the application log. I checked the "Exchange Domain Servers" group and found that my new server was not a member of this group.
