We currently had our mailbox store setup on fiber channel storage which we are migrating away from to our new iSCSI storage. We then moved all users connected to the old mailbox store to the new mailbox store on the same server. ID no: c1034a7f Exchange System Manager I have found a lot of information online that seems to be pointing at the same thing. I opened Active Directory Users and Computers and did an advance search for all users who mailbox home was on our exchange server. All the users were returned because the users still reside on the server but in a different store. I then sorted it by the store (added this column) and I still only have the three mailboxes(SMTP, System Attendant, and System Mailbox) that are part of this mailbox store. To do this simply navigate to them within the Exchange System Manager, right-click and choose Delete. You may encounter an error that some users still have mailboxes stored in the database, even though you successfully moved them all to Exchange error id 2007. ID no: c1034a7f Exchange System Manager You can locate these user accounts using Active Directory Users and Computers. Right-click the root of the domain and start a search. Leave the first criteria blank and click error id c1034a7f on the Exchange tab. Tick “Show only Exchange recipients” and “Users with Exchange mailbox”. Click Find Now, and then add the Exchange Home Server column using the View menu. Sort by this column and you should quickly see which users Exchange still thinks have mailboxes on the legacy server. Move the mailboxes of any users that you find. If they don't actually have mailboxes you can simply right-click on them and choose to remove Exchange features from their mailbox attributes. You shouldn't be seeing anything user mailboxes usually as you mentioned that only system mailbox exists. If anything exists, check for the corresponding object in Active Directory and remove the exchange attributes once again. Or remove it through ADSIDEIT . dsquery * "CN=CONFIGURATION,DC=Domainname,DC=COM" -filter cn=Exchangedatabasename -attr homemdbbl If its the first database which got created on that server, then you need to move the system attendant mailbox to a different db to delete that mailbox.
