That just means that the hard drive the target is not formatted correctly. You can still use the target as expected, the only things you cannot do are features which require a target hard drive like profiling and writing to file using File Scopes

This PC has an integrated compact flash adapter. The CF card always shows up as the secondary master in the BIOS setup. The PC had no problem booting from the CF card since it shows up as the C drive under DOS. However, the xPC Target kernel did not recognize the C drive. Here is the error message that I received: No accessible disk found: file system disabledSubsequently, my applications cannot save data to the CF card as it is not accessible from xPC Target. I need to stream data to a file, using a file scope, in real-time. Is there a workaround to get xPC Target to recognize the file system on the compact flash card? 0 Comments Show all comments Tags interfaceintegrateddriveelectronics Products Simulink Real-Time Related Content 1 Answer MathWorks Support Team (view profile) 13,622 questions 13,622 answers 13,621 accepted answers Reputation: 2,587 Vote0 Link Direct link to this answer: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/91813#answer_101164 Answer by MathWorks Support Team MathWorks Support Team (view profile) 13,622
is a red error message "ERROR: No accessible disk found: file system disable." When I tried to connect from the host, There are red error messages "ERROR: -33:device driver resource error" and "ERROR: -4:drive not found" Can anybody help me? Thanks, yinanchen Top xPC Target error: no accessible disk found by Neil Che » Sat, 05 Feb 2005 08:51:43 Found the answer. The target machine needs a FAT hard disk. I am using NTFS. Thanks for looking. Neil Top xPC Target error: no accessible disk found by Gordon Wea » Sat, 05 Feb 2005 23:29:06 Neil, Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't made the structure of an NTFS file system public. We can't support NTFS partitions. Even Linux doesn't fully support NTFS, the driver isn't safe for writing to that file system. The next version of xPC Target will show one of the 'No accessible disk found' messages for each of the 5 partitions it tries to check for. Use the xpc explorer to see which partitions are actually found. The error message only effects the use of file system usage on the target machine. Other functionality isn't affected. From what I read it seems that the problem should only influence file scopes functioning, but in my case the control works (from start until I stop the application the target controls the system) but as soon as I stop the model (via simulink or via xpcexplr or via matlab command window) i receive TCP/IP Connect error and no data appears either in workspace nor in scopes and so on on host computer. Do you have any suggestion? THANK YOU! silvia Top xPC Target error: no accessible disk found by Silvia App » T
