But when I create a new customer it sends me the email but when I try to log on to the shop. It gives the following Error: Sorry, there is no match for that email address and/or password. When you check in the admin page the user is there and active etc I notice there was a entry for this problem and the solution was to reinstall Zen Cart. Type a incorrect password or username and you get the Error: Sorry, there is no match for that email address and/or password Which is correct When you input the correct email and password we are back to the loop Welcome Guest! I can also log out and then login successfully using the 'My Account' drop down box in the top right hand corner of the site.My problem is that using the normal login page where it http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?t=66525 says 'Returning Customer' I keep getting this same error: Warning: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password.I am using 1.5.1.3 and I am not in a position to upgrade at this time. am I getting this error message: "The credentials you supplied were not correct or did not grant access to this resource"? This message means that you cannot login because the email address and/or password information you entered does not match http://www.3tier.com/en/support/account/error-message-credentials-not-correct/ the registration information we have in our database. There are a few reasons why http://www.opencartaz.com/opencart/error-no-match-for-e-mail-address-and-or-password.html this could be happening. 1) Email addresses and passwords are case sensitive. This means that PASSWORD is a different entry than password. Please check that the caps lock key on your keyboard is not activated and try retyping your information again. 2) You can’t remember your password. If this is the case, simply reset it error no by going to the login page and clicking on the "Did you forget your password" link. You will be asked to enter your email address and a link to reset your password will be sent to that email address from registration@3tier.com. 3) The email address you entered does not match the records we have for your account. To troubleshoot, please check that the email address you entered is the one error no match you remember using when you registered and if you cannot remember simply register again under a different email address or Contact Support. the new 1.4.8b version of open cart and now my customers cannot login even though i have the customer approved that i still cannot login and i get :-"Error: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password."Even though i created a new customer.AnswersI solved it> :-}And what was the solution? I am having exactly the same issue. here is what happened, I had an installation of open cart, and my files got corrupted, so I did a fresh install of opencart using the same version 1.4.4, and I used the same database to install new files, and I changed the prefix so the old tables would not be overwritten.I then removed the prefix, and now everything seems to be working fine, except for one small error. My existing users cannot log in, and new users who sign up cannot log in. Also, if I use the reset password functionality, it still does not recognize the username.I have made sure that the store_id in the customer table is the same as the store_id in the store table.I am guessing there is an encryption key somewhere?
