Has anyone http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/cisco/nsp/2198 had success using Compact Flash memory in a PCMCIA adapter? That seems to be a cheap way to go. I inserted the card from my camera into a router and could see disk1: and all http://docstore.mik.ua/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios113ed/cs/csprtf/csprtf2/csmemory.htm its files. I seemed to be able to write to it also. Is there any disadvantage to such flash 'disks' instead of the (I assume older) flash memory cards? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon Lewis *jlewis [at] lewis*| I route System Administrator | therefore you are Atlantic Net | _________ http://www.lewis.org/~jlewis/pgp for PGP public key_________ jared at puck Aug26,2002,8:40PM Post #3 of 10 (2260 views) Permalink Re: [nsp] Flash Memory via Compact Flash card [In reply to] On Mon, Aug 26, 2002 at 10:47:28PM -0400, jlewis [at] lewis wrote: > On Mon, 26 Aug 2002, Roy wrote: > > > I am looking at increasing the flash memory in some 7200VXRs.
