This permission can be enabled or disabled per reseller, per service plan, and per subscription. If the option is unchecked (which is the default) and you are logged in under a non-administrative account, basic PP functionality will become unavailable: Create a subscription Change the FTP account password Deploy an application There is also an option called Management of access to the server over SSH, which is set to Not allowed by default. If you set it to a different value when creating a subscription, the creation may fail due to insufficient permissions for the user to perform that operation. Resolution Check if the Setup of potentially insecure web scripting options that override provider's policy option is selected/enabled. If the first solution did not help, try to set the Management of access to the server over SSH option to Not allowed. In this example, the above settings are applied to a subscription: If the previous steps did not solve the problem, create database backup and run the bootstrapper repair procedure: # mysqldump -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow ` psa > /root/psa.`date +%F_%H.%M`.sql # /usr/local/psa/

Make sure they are aligned Sergey L, Jun 27, 2011 #3 MatiM Bit Poster Messages: 5 The same happens with the setting you request. and i dont think, i have to give a reseller a SSH shell access, to create domains. And i dont want to give ability to connect over SSH to nobody other then me. MatiM, Jun 27, 2011 #4 Sergey L Plesk Developers Messages: 1,215 http://forum.odin.com/threads/error-no-secure-shell-available.111576/ Yes, surely you may want to not share SSH access. I just supposed that a privilege to grant SSH access isn't given to your reseller, but they attempt to include SSH access for their domains... Sergey L, Jun 27, 2011 #5 MatiM Bit Poster Messages: 5 no, i check it, check all his plans, and try to add a domain without a plan. The same thing happen. MatiM, Jun 27, 2011 #6 Adi Bit Poster Messages: 3 I am getting the same error on Plesk 10.2 when to add a subscription, even when "Service Plan" is set to "None"! Does this make any sense? The behavior is similar to BobbyR's, except that the subscription account name is apparently added in the database because I can't re-use it, but its not visible. Under which circumstances is Plesk supposed to configure a secure shell for a subscription, if the reseller "Management of access to the server over SSH" set to "Not allowed"? Adi, Jul 4, 2011 #7 Adi Bit Poster Messages: 3 "Error: no secure shell available" fixed! Hi guys, just for the records, I found what the problem was with this one.
