I'm processing a 300 page document and currently seeing [echo] Generate the pdf - /files/book/book.original/pdf/xslfo.pdf [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [java] [error] no space for an element, trying to recover I'm finding it rather hard, and guesswork based, to go through each page and guess what element is causing this. Some sort of hint as to the source would be very much appreciated. for my input, candidates also include elements for which I have set white-space retain, e.g. program listings? regards -- Dave Pawson XSLT XSL-FO FAQ. Sat Feb 05 2011 - 06:52:55 PST [error] no space for an element, trying to recover [277][278][279] Not a very helpful error IMHO? Is there any way I can trace it http://services.renderx.com/lists/xep-support/6562.html to some source please? Are the numbers page numbers in the output? regards -- Dave Pawson XSLT XSL-FO FAQ. If I use "scale=50" attribute, that solves that and they come out well for the PDF, but then are far too small in my Eclipse Infocenter HTML output. If I remove the scale attribute and set "scalefit" to "yes", the image vanishes completely in the PDF output. Does anyone have any advice about general image scaling strategies? My first thought is that I could include each image twice, scaled two different ways, and use conditional profiling to exclude one from PDF output and the other from HTML, but it seems like there's probably a better way.
