One of the SR is a CIFS share with a SR_backend_failure_202 - General Backend error [ opterr= command os.stat/var/run/sr-mount/D93d.. rest of UUID) - which i have re-shared with a differnt name and is working fine. - This seems to be an issue with a co

SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_47, The SR is not available [opterr=5] Started by Tomasz Mogila http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/316847-sr-backend-failure-47-the-sr-is-not-available/ , 05 February 2015 - 03:51 PM Login to Reply sr_backend_failure opterr=5 sr is not available pbd-plug 2 replies to this topic Best Answer Tomasz Mogila , 12 February 2015 - 09:25 AM Well, only destroying host and reinstalling xenserver for problematic host solve this problem. Please remember about disabling HA, putting off network cables from iscsi (for security reason) and https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/361444-sr-backend-failure-47-the-sr-is-not-available-opterr5/ then destroying host. When adding newly installed host to pool resource, we need to add IP adresses from storage network and repair each shared storage. That fix all. Go to the full post

It is attached properly to second XenServer from pool, but it isn't possible to repair it and reattach. When I'm doing xe pbd-plug it says: # xe pbd-plug uuid=b159020f-5e3e-6228-7be6-d6b328692409 Error code: SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_47 Error parameters: , The SR is not available [opterr=5], After an hour of investigating "what's cooking", I found out there is no Volume group anymore.
