Julio is online now Quicklook 2 not finding user information! Customer Question Hello, I have an HP 2730p Elitebook. I'm trying to get the Quicklook 2 feature to work properly, but every time I try to use it, I keep getting: "Error: User Information not found. Cannot continue" or something to this effect. I've already reinstalled Quicklook 2 several times, "captured" data from Outlook multiple times, but nothing. Anything else I can try? It seems that when I try to capture data from Outlook, a "Capturing Outlook Data" screen pops up for a split second. Perhaps there's a problem in capturing the data? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I've been trying to get this to work for days now. Thanks! Submitted: 6 years ago. However the program is installed and enabled.Open MSOutlook. You should see two icons on the far right of your toolbar (to the right of "Privacy") for HP QuickLook. They look like (i) with green arrows over them (the program name will pop-up when you roll your cursor over them). Click on the one called "HP QuickLook Preferences."Select a setting on the "Capture" tab. Then select the "Folders" tab and check off the information you want to capture. And, set your security preferences on the last tab.Apply the settings and click "OK". A prompt will appear indicating the need to capture the information from the folders you selected. Depending on how much information, emails etc. it may take a few minutes.Once you've captured the information close Outlook and shut down your computer. When you press the QuickLook button you should not encounter the error message -- because the program now has "found" the user information.Read the article hereLet me know the progress.ThanksEdited by Julio Chang on 3/3/2010 at 2:37 PM EST Ask Your Own Computer Question Expert: Julio replied6 years ago. If you're using DirectQuery ensure there is data in your data source. Can you also tell what data source are you trying to connect to ?
