→ shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory Posted on 2014/11/04 by Sean — No Comments ↓ After keyed in the command service httpd restart I got this error. I've never seen it before. shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory chdir: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory Soon I found it was because I ran the command under a Deleted Directory. I delete the folder from another terminal but this terminal is still under this folder. Whatever command or script I run will lead to this error. Solution Simple.
