Error Windows Igdpmd64.sys
Windows Updates. The error seems to be caused by the “Igdpmd64.sys” file. After some researching on the Internet, I finally found that “Igdpmd64.sys” (64bit OS) or “Igdpmd32.sys” (32bit OS) error is commonly caused on Windows 7 OS (SP1) based computer after the installation of Windows KB2670838 update during Automatic Windows Update procedure. This tutorial is written to help users to solve the “Igdpmd64.sys” or “igdpmd32.sys” error message on Windows 7 SP1 based computers. The following error message appeared on a HP Pavilion DV7 (Windows 7 SP1 64Bit) notebook computer: {The problem seems to be caused by the following file: igdpmd64.sys

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.
