There is also a check mark in "Use FTP performance optimization" I am using C S5.5 and am hosted on Domain Registry of Amaerca. They say the problem lies in CS5.5. It always worked in CS4, but not after upgrading to CS5.5. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3. Re: File Activity Incomplete Nancy O. this since last spring on my website, MagicTricks.com. Today, as I was uploading the changes to a file, I got an error message in dreamweaver root directory the Background File Activity window. "File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not completed." I opened my IE browser to the .htm page where the file is located to see if the aborted upload made any change on https://forums.adobe.com/thread/949471 the page- and the page is now completely blank. The page in question is http://www.magictricks.com/stage/animatedshoelaces.htm Obviously, I am not able to make any changes on my site until I fix this. And I'm afraid to experiment, as I will erase pages in my online store. Not good! I am able to connect to the remote server. I am able to switch to Remote View and see all my files there on the server. The /animatedshoelaces.htm file is listed there http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29242 in the Remote View. Please help. I really appreciate it! magictricks View Public Profile Find More Posts by magictricks 10-23-2008, 08:26 PM #2 domedia Administrator Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 9,730 I might be missing something here, but did you try to upload the file one more time? __________________ Please read this before asking for help. - New Tutorial: Define Your Site DreamweaverClub on Twitter - Ove (domedia) on Twitter - Ove A. Both times I got the File Incomplete error message, and the page still shows up as blank in the browser. magictricks View Public Profile Find More Posts by magictricks 10-23-2008, 09:01 PM #4 domedia Administrator Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 9,730 The root of the problem is the error message. Any other information? Does it tell you why it was incomplete? For now you can upload it with another ftp client. __________________ Please read this before asking for help. - New Tutorial: Define Your Site DreamweaverClub on Twitter - Ove (domedia) on Twitter - Ove A. If you're talking about when you define a new Site, then yes - "Dreamweaver connected to your Web server successfully." ralphm 2011-07-29 05:14:08 UTC #4 Do you have access to the hosting account itself (such as a file manager in a control panel that you log in to)? Anyhow, it might be best to ring the web host as ask them directly. That could be a quicker solution. Also, does this apply only to pages that are already on the site?
