but always closes connection before finishing up vote 6 down vote favorite On a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard machine, I'm having trouble connecting to and downloading a file from a Windows FTP server. Filesize is ~3KB to 6KB. Very rarely ~100KB to ~500KB, but the server has plenty of space on disk.
